i'm getting the XSI in a month and was wondering what lenses you'd recommend for a beginner. right now i'm thinking a 18-55mm and a 50mm. nothing fancy because i'm just starting out.
what lens did you use on that picture?

but I recommend you start out with a super wide angle lens, not too expensive try to get one for less than £400, and a zoom lens for those mid range and telephoto shots. But it does depend on what type of photography you are into. Try to stick with canon and sigma lens' though, preferably canon as they are better build quality.
